I chose Splash because I love the thrill plus the storyline. It feels like a dark ride and thrill ride all in one!

I also voted for Splash Mountain, the colors, the story and the big drop. Gotta love it!

Although Splash Mountain is my obvious choice as it's my favorite ride at WDW, I do love Big Thunder Mountain. It's best when it's dark out, you are in the back, and you keep your hands up so you slide around the entire time.

Tie between Splash and Space...both for nostalgic reasons. Brent, remember when we rode Splash several times in a row for the CP night? That was pretty awesome.

Sarah, I agree Big Thunder is soooo much fun to ride on during wishes! And actually riding Big Thunder at night even if not during wishes is the best time to ride it in my opinion.

I chose Splash Mountain because it is fun and when you are hot, you can go on that plunge and get wet after the drop. Truly a life saver

My favorite mountain is Splash Mountain because of the inside. I remember the first year I rode it (1995), we had not gone on it yet that trip and we were talking about it while dining at Columbia Harbor House in the upstairs dining room. It was just our family and an old couple. The grandmother-type lady started talking to us about it and said I shouldn't be scared because it was "simply delightful." She was worried about the drop too, but she said inside was a great little ride with all the characters singing and dancing. I had no idea about that part at the time, so I was excited for that. Since then, that is why Splash has been my favorite, because it was never the scary ride I thought it would be and I love the dark ride portion. Also, it's one of the longest attractions at Disney!

It's the story that makes Splash Mountain so great. I love that instead of a typical flume ride attraction where it's climb a hill and go down a drop, this one has a huge story to go along with all of it and the drop is part of the story instead of just some random thing thrown in.

Yeah, I definitely agree that Splash Mountain is the best of the trio thanks to its dark ride. I'd go as far as to say it's the best dark ride in all the parks (sorry, Brent!) I'd love to see Snow White, Peter Pan, and Pooh upgraded to the more animated and detailed technology seen here.
