why is the lake in frot of the majic kingdom called 7 seas logen am so lost with it

Hey Matt, I read somewhere that there was meant to be quite a few other resorts on the lagoon with more of an international feel to it. They came up with Seven Seas Lagoon for that purpose I think.

You got it Erik! There were originally three other resorts planned that never came into existance, but each was themed around a different part of the world. So the name of the lake became Seven Seas Lagoon to tie these resorts together (since Disney is all about story).

so that why call it 7 seas logon i thoght they got water from all world and put in longon kinga same the idea they did for its small world in disneyland

@Erik - I know the one area (between Monorail and Contemporary) is swamp area and it's near impossible to build there due to that. Another area is where the Wedding Pavilion now sits.
@Matt - There is place in WDW where they put water from around the world at like small world. It's the fountain in Future World. Interesting story though is Disney didn't order enough water from around the world for small world so when they rededicated it a few years ago they didn't have water to pour it in and it would cost way too much money to order more so they just brought in local water.
