As I chronicled in today's Saturday Matinee, the "It" moment is the film's defining moment. "It" is when all of the film's elements, from character and story development to visuals and music, come together to deliver an amazing and unforgettable moment.

I asked at the end to post your favorite "It" moment from any animated Disney classic. What is your favorite "It" moment and why?

For those that missed it, here is the article:

I feel bad for rarely using the FSTT forums, but I simply have to chime in with one of the definitive "It" Moments that can be found in two Disney films:

In Cinderella, when she goes back up to her room, she stands by the window and looks out at the castle, illuminated in the night sky.

This type of shot is then used again in Aladdin when he's singing his "One Jump Ahead" reprise. He pulls back the curtain and looks out, and you see the palace, also illuminated in the night sky.

Both moments stand out as "It" moments to me, as they feature the protagonist looking out at the world that is not yet theirs, but will be soon enough.

I'll likely share more, but for now, I must go to bed!

Heh, I constantly do that every time I see shots of Cinderella's castle :p .

Those are nice moments, Albert! I hope to see more of them soon!
