Hey wedfriends, if you could make a Disney animated movie, what would it be? It can be anything from old school cartoons to regular movies or books.

I think a Animated movie that includes all of the Disney Afternoon shows would be awesome. Kind of like a Canonball Run movie or Rat Race.

My idea for an animated movie isn't Disney at all, just ideas that I would love to see developed in the animated medium. For example, I have a "slice of life" movie idea that's basically like a moving illustration. I would employ a Xerox like process like in Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians where the lines are subtly shown to give the illusion of a drawing come to life, a moving illustration so to speak.
I would also love for anyone (Disney, Pixar etc.) to do a film musical akin to the MGM classics like Singin' in the Rain as well as the Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movies. The dancing shouldn't be done by mocap or rotoscoping, they should try animating the steps, adding a vivid animated quality to it. Animation allows the filmmaker to do stuff that normally couldn't happen in real life. Dancing is something that could benefit from it. I mean the Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly stuff is astounding, but imagine if it took in an animated world where there are no limitations and you can do whatever you wanted?
I think it would be a great thing if done right.

I've always wanted Disney to make their own animated version of Margery Williams' The Velveteen Rabbit.
