Hello and welcome to the second annual WEDfriend Secret Santa Event! Last's year event was very successful,creating a lot of wonderful holiday memories and reinforcing existingfriendships, which is what From Screen to Theme and the WEDfriendsare all about. We hope to accomplish the same thing this year, so inorder to make things run as smoothly as possible, here is how thingsare going to work out.
On November 1st, the sign upperiod will begin and will last till November 14th, a two week period.
On November 15th, I will post the list of participants. From then till November 21, you will confirm yourparticipation on the event. This is being done to make sure peopleare interested in participating and to make sure we know how many people are going to be in this event.
This is also the week in which the Wish List thread will be created. In here you will post what you wish toreceive as a present.
Once we have checked the list, we will start sending out assignments, which will last till November 28. This will be the deadline to confirm that you have received yourassignment. Once more, this is to ensure everyone has their assignment and see if there is anything wrong. When the thread is up,just write “I have received my assignment”.
The deadline to post your Wish Lists is on November 28.
Finally, starting on December 1 throughthe 14th, this will be the period to start sending outpresents. The sooner you do this the better as mail traffic slowsdown significantly during the Holidays. This is where I will alsomake a “Present sent/received” thread where participants canconfirm if they have sent their presents or if they have received it.
So, to sum it all up...
November 1-14: Sign up period
November 15-21: Confirm yourparticipation, post your Wish List
November 22-28: Confirm that you havereceived your assignments
November 28: The deadline to post your Wish Lists
December 1-14: The period to start sending out presents
Now that the process has been placed,let's start with phase one of Secret Santa: The Sign Up Period
Send an e-mail message towedfriendsecretsanta@gmail.com
On this message, you will include thefollowing information:
Your full name
Your mailing address
Your e-mail address
The holiday you celebrate (Christmas,Hannukah etc.)
I can't state this enough, you haveuntil November 14 to send your e-mail with your information. Once November 8 rolls around, we will not take anymore participants andwill re-confirm the ones that will be participating.

A quick update! With Becky's message, we are up to eight participants! That's a good number, but many of the regulars are still missing.
You guys have until next week to sign up, meaning that this week is the last week you have until you are registered! Once the 14th rolls around I will not be accepting any more entries! So if you want to participate do it before it is too late! Also, make sure to spread the word all over for those that may have missed this!
