Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World's Home to the Movies

If you could create an attraction or show about the muppets, what would it be? -- When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on so long in the first place. Brent Dodge for President! I read somewhere that Disney originally had plans to make a Muppets Great Movie Ride in which the Muppets would hilariously reenact scenes from the Great Movie Ride... I guess it never got off the drawing board. Too bad! On another note, it would be neat if they put a Muppet Whatnot Workshop somewhere on Disney property. They have one at FAO Schwartz in New York City where you can create your own Muppet! It's really fun, I love my Muppet Whatnot! -- Lightspeed to Endor!

I guess it never got off the drawing board. Too bad! Speaking of a Muppet land that Brent mentioned and Great Muppet Movie Ride, both weresupposed to actually exist in MGM Studios! I heard a show devoted to thistopic and it really is quite insightful of how big a presence theMuppets were supposed to have at the Studios. They were supposed tohave a Muppet Studios portion where Muppet Vision is now with an interactive pizza parlor run by Gonzo and the Great Muppet Movie Ride which was exactly what the title is. I think it was Jim Korkiss that they interviewed and he said that these weren't just ideas on a drawing board, they had plans to actually be built. Though the unexpected death of Jim Henson kept the Muppet Studios from being built. I guess it's like, if God forbid, John Lasseter passes away and we never get to see Carsland. Though I do like the idea of a Bunsen and Beaker 3D show!! Has anyone seen the new digital version of Muppet Vision? It's INCREDIBLE. It felt like they actually rerecorded the whole thing.
