Has WDW ever had AK open for any kind of evening magic hours, or do they need to keep certain hours for the health and well being of the animals? As far as I know from my last time there in 2009, they never went that far past sundown... and understandably had no fireworks.

I've been to a few special events at Animal Kingdom after closing hours. the only areas they have open are Asia and Dinoland though due to the fact that theya re far enough away from the animals so guests don't wake them from being noisy AND they have some of the signature attractions in Dinosaur and Expedition Everest.
