hey guys, what kind of stores and restaurants would you like to see come to downtown disney where pleasure island used to be?

I wouldn't mind a Hershey's or M&M store in Downtown Disney, like the ones they have in NYC. But seeing as Ghiradelli's is at the Marketplace, that wouldn't work. A store dedicated to the old school Disney cartoons would be awesome! I would totally buy a Duck Tales shirt or a Gadget tool belt!

I love Mariel's idea of an old school Disney cartoon store. Like an 80s-90s tribute store. Look at how much the Disney company is making on their vintage Walt Disney World (ie, Mariel, Reub, Albert, and myself having shirts) and Epcot shirts (Alex, John) They would make a ton of money on vintage tv shows etc if they sold that stuff in a store. I think that's the best idea yet.

A vintage Disney store would be incredible. Can we pitch the idea to Disney? haha
I think a Coca-Cola store would be cool where they sell cokes from the bottle. I went to the one in Las Vegas and it was fun.

That would be truly awesome... a vintage store with everything from Gummi Bears to TaleSpin to Duck Tales... you name it, everything would be there...

It is really frustrating that Disney doesn't understand how much people loved these shows. Re runs and merchandise are what we want from these classic shows. Heck I would even love to see them trying to re boot the shows into new adventures!
